Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) is a large-scale exhibition center in Shanghai, located at 2345 Longyang Road, Pudong. It laid the foundation on November 4, 1999 and officially opened on November 2, 2001. Shanghai New International Expo Center is developed by a number of domestic and foreign institutions, including Shanghai Pudong Land Development (Holding) Company, Germany Hanover Exhibition Company, Dusseldorf Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Munich Exhibition Co., Ltd. The Murphy/Jahn design office is responsible for the design.
The company has maintained a high reputation in the National Convention and Exhibition industry, and actively joined the authoritative institutions and associations in the industry. The company is the vice-chairman unit of China Exhibition Hall Association, the vice-chairman unit of Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industry Association, the executive director unit of Yangtze River Delta City Convention and Exhibition Alliance and the member of International Exhibition Management Association. In recent years, the company has also won many social honors. For example, in 2008, it won the title of "2008 Brand Enterprise" in the selection activities of Shanghai SME Brand Construction Promotion Committee. In December 2008, the company was awarded "2006-2007 Tax Credit Grade A" by Shanghai State Taxation Bureau and Shanghai Local Taxation Bureau. In 2010, the company was awarded the title of "Two Star Honest Enterprise" in Shanghai and the title of "First Class Qualified Enterprise" in Shanghai Convention and Exhibition Industry. In July 2012, the company was awarded the title of "Five-star Credit Founding Enterprise" by Shanghai Organizing Committee of "Enterprise Credit Founding" Activity. In January 2014, it was recommended by the Shanghai famous brand recommendation Committee as the Shanghai brand in 2013.
